Daimler certification for fire and emission tests

OMPG was successfully audited by Daimler AG. Following the expansion of the laboratory capacities, the high quality of the testing services for plastics processors and suppliers to the automotive industry was demonstrated.

The Class A methods approved by Daimler AG include fire testing in accordance with DBL 5307 and almost all emission tests in accordance with DBL 5430.

Certification of the exposure test is still planned for 2017 and the addition of thermal desorption analysis in accordance with VDA 278 is planned for next year.

At the same time, we took part in the Volkswagen Group's round robin test for accepted service laboratories for indoor emissions measurements. In August 2017, OMPG was certified for successful participation in all test areas.

OMPG offers a wide range of testing services accredited by DAkkS GmbH, Berlin, for all areas of plastics and textile processing worldwide.

These range from physical, chemical and mechanical testing of plastics, fibers and composites, textiles, coatings, wood and leather to processing and electrical tests on plastics and biological tests to determine antibacterial efficacy and biocompatibility.

The reaccreditation procedure by DAkkS GmbH is currently underway, so that an accreditation certificate extended to include new test procedures will be available in the near future.
