Light, weather and climate

Back

Solar radiation, heat, rain and moisture have a permanent effect on materials and influence their serviceability, appearance and, in many cases, their product safety.

We have various testing techniques for accelerated procedures to simulate natural environmental conditions in the laboratory. With the available equipment (e.g. xenotest, sun simulation chamber and climate chamber), numerous standards and test methods for testing climate, light and weather stability can be reliably implemented.

Environmental simulations

  • Air conditioning mounts
  • climate change tests
  • Artificial exposures / light fastnesses
  • artificial weathering
  • tackiness
  • Florida test
  • Kalahari / Arizona test
  • Salt spray tests
