ROHS

Back

EU Directive 2011/65/EU ("RoHS Directive") sets limits for residue chemicals in electrical devices. With special and temporary exceptions, electronic products must not be placed on the market if they contain higher concentrations of the heavy metals cadmium, lead, mercury or chromium VI, brominated flame retardants or phthalate plasticizers. The limit values apply to every homogeneous material a product is made from. RoHS conformity is also a prerequisite for the CE marking of an electrical product. OMPG offers you customized test concepts and RoHS analyses with accredited test methods for your electrical products.
